Jayakar Committee and Indian road congress

In 1921 Jayakar Committee was established to examine and submit a report on road development. There were several recommendations which I already discussed in the listed video lecture below.

Road development to be considered as national interest.

Levy tax on petrol and diesel from the road user to develop a nd called " Central Road Fund ".

Establishing research organization to carry out research and development of roads and semi-official body to be formed to act as an advisory body.

All are the listed above points are the recommendations of the Jayakar Committee.

Similarly in 1934 Indian Road Congress which is a semi-official technical body also called as a offshoot of Jayakar Committee. The detailed explanation is provided in the following video. So watch the video till the end to get the detailed information.
