Design of combined rectangular footing

Hi everyone in this video you will get detailed explanation related to the combine reinforced concrete rectangular footing. This sort of numerical are quite very hard because all these contain the bunch of steps and that steps need to properly follow and if any step not followed properly then we will not get proper bending moments.

Bending moments are responsible for to calculate the size of the footing. Following numerical is related to the combine rectangular footing.

Design a combine reinforced concrete rectangular footing for two columns A and B located 3.60 m apart. The size of the columns is 400 X 400 mm and 600 X 600 mm and the loads on them are 1000kN and 1500kNrespectively. The projection of the footing parallel to the length of the footing beyond the axis of column A is limited to 590 mm. The safe bearing capacity of the soil is 280 kN/sq.m. Use M20 concrete and Fe415 Steel.
